What our students say about us

I love Suspension Yoga!

I loved my first ever Suspension Yoga - great fun and a good workout. Beautifully, thoughtfully designed studio with a rich choice of amazing classes and teachers. I would highly recommend the place for anyone; beginners to yoga and the more experienced yogis.

Highly Recommended.

A great new addition to my yoga practice this year. I live in Bristol and have attended online Hot 26 + 2 (I whacked up my heating) and Focused Flow a couple of times already. Great instruction, clear and professional. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Studio!

Do not miss out on this beautiful studio. It has so much to offer. It is not just one type of yoga or one type of teacher. You owe it to your body to look after it to see you through this crazy life.

I love Emma's Pilates classes.

I loved my first mat pilates class with Emma. She’s upbeat, and straddles the in-studio and online space effortlessly. Emma is attentive, I enjoyed her practice and the class flowed really well. I enjoyed her cheerful demeanour and felt challenged and energized. Definitely going back for more.

I enjoyed Clarissa's streamed class.

I’ve never done 26 + 2 HOT before and Clarissa made it easy to follow. She was inclusive of us streaming in from our home mats. I felt like every minute of the class was worthwhile and challenging, despite not being in the HOT studio! Definitely will be doing more of Clarissa’s classes.

Jo is a great teacher for a Pilates beginner.

Jo is really clear in her instructions and for me - yoga old-timer and a pilates beginner - I found it straight forward to follow. Her classes are demanding and on point

Fun and challenging!

I attended my 2nd mat pilates class with Jo this morning and it was amazing. I have lower back problems, and I found the class fun, just the right pace but with plenty of opportunity to challenge me too. I am in a little discomfort all the time, daily, but pilates is my escape from it all! Jo has really helped me and lifted my spirits in just 2 sessions, so thanks again

Incredible classes!

Incredible classes, teaching was super helpful even online. 100% definitely recommend

As a complete beginner, I really enjoy my classes.

I’m totally new to yoga, and have really enjoyed my classes here - the teachers seem very knowledgeable and the studio is lovely

Really happy to have found a studio that does everything.

Lovely, warm and welcoming yoga studio. The App is super easy to use and makes it quick to book classes and pay. Really happy to have found a studio that does everything.

We have a secure bike rack that you are welcome to use and chain your bike to.

Please note any vehicles, bikes or other property left in our car park is left at your own risk.

What to bring

A Yoga Mat

We are, sadly, not able to provide communal Yoga mats, so you will need to bring your own. We do have mats for sale if you do not own one.

Appropriate Clothing

Please wear appropriate clothing for exercise. We suggest clothing that does not restrict your range of motion. Please ensure shorts have an inner lining.

A bottle of water

Please do not bring coloured liquids into the studio. There is a tap for replenishing empty bottles.

Yoga & Pilates Props
We provide all Yoga & Pilates accessories and equipment you may need to use during class, but if you have your own you are most welcome to bring them.

Arriving at the Studio

On arrival you will be greeted at the door by your teacher, who will sign you into the class and point you to the right studio.

Please note the doors open 15 minutes before the start of class and will be closed when the class starts. To avoid disrupting the class, latecomers will not be permitted entry. This is to ensure both the teacher and students have an uninterrupted practice.

Please remove your shoes and place them in the cubby holes provided outside the studio door.  There are hooks for coats and bags inside the studios – please bring any valuables into the studio with you and place them on a hook. We have toilet facilities for you to use, but no changing rooms, so please arrive dressed to practice.

Please ensure your mobile phone is switched off.  Exceptions granted for those with a legitimate need (e.g. If you are a Doctor on-call). Please speak to your teacher before the start of class if you would like to keep your phone on.

Upon entering the studio, find the spot with your mat number on it and place your mat down.  Then relax. You’ve done your part, you’ve made it into class. We’ll take it from here.

After Class

After your class, please feel free to enjoy the space for a few minutes before making your way out. If you have any questions for you teacher, they will be available outside the room to chat to.

Don’t forget to pick up your belongings!

Definitely don’t forget to put your shoes back on (you’d be surprised how often blissed-out Yogis leave their shoes behind!).

Please be respectful of other classes that may be ongoing and keep the noise levels reasonable inside the building.

Streamed Classes

When you book a space in one of our streaming classes, you will receive a confirmation email which will include the Zoom link for your class. You will need Zoom installed on the device you wish to use.

You can watch the class in a number of ways, dependent on your setup at home.

The simplest way is using our dedicated Surrey Yoga And Pilates app (which you can find in the App/Play store!), or you can click the link in the email to use the web browser instead if you are using a desktop/laptop.

If streaming to your mobile or tablet device you can cast the stream to your TV, for a more immersive experience.  Details on how to do this for Apple and Samsung phones can be found here:

Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

Samsung Galaxy

You will be automatically checked into the class when you join the Zoom session.  You are welcome to turn on your video, or not, as you prefer.

For classes with students physically in the Studio with the teacher, your microphone will remain off.

For classes that are streamed only, with no students physically present, the teacher will enable the screens microphones of the Zoom attendees, in order to see your practise and offer adjustments.  If you do not wish to be seen and/or heard, please let the teacher know and they will ‘switch you off’!

Providing a Safe Space

We are all now familiar with the necessary precautions we must all take to manage the risk of COVID.

To that end, we have designed and built the studios with this in mind and have implemented the following systems to minimise the risk:

  1. Fully ventilated studios, each with its own dedicated ventilation system, replacing the air in the studio with fresh air from outside.
  2. Each studio is steam cleaned daily.
  3. Equipment is thoroughly cleaned after each use.
  4. No shared mats – students must bring their own mat (mats are available for purchase if you don’t have one).
  5. Each mat is numbered and spaced appropriately. Students book a specific mat when booking a class, allowing everyone to know exactly where they are going.
  6. We request all students to check-in to the NHS Track and Trace app upon arrival, via the QR code on the door.
